RESEARCH
Research Experience
Superconducting Quantum Computing Group, Professor Yuanzhen Chen
SUSTech · 2025 to present
Undergraduate researcher
- Pulse control for multilevel systems: Studied the dynamics of superconducting qubits and multilevel systems, with emphasis on leakage and crosstalk during state operations. Analysed single-DRAG (Derivative Removal by Adiabatic Gate) waveforms and reproduced double-DRAG and multi-DRAG control schemes from the literature.
- Quantum-state evolution and drive optimization: Explore precise microwave control in multiqubit, multilevel systems. Under physical conditions without direct coupling or additional magnetic fields, implemented state evolution for a selected qubit using microwave driving alone; used group theory and numerical optimization to formulate pulse-parameter tuning as a mathematical optimization problem for high-fidelity waveforms.
RTMQ Real-Time Quantum Measurement and Control
Guided by Professor Junhua Zhang · 2026 to present
Research preparation and systems learning
- Learning scope: Digital logic, low-level hardware, specialised instruction sets, processor architecture, real-time interconnects, compiler toolchains, and runtime environments.
- Systems perspective: Studying deterministic timing, low latency, and quantum-classical co-processing, as well as the interface between RTMQ execution and SuperSDM's experiment workflows.
- Current boundary: This is a theory and research-preparation stage, not a completed independent research result; future work will begin with verifiable modules such as testing tools, runtime interfaces, or platform adapters.

Full-Stack Digital Ecosystem for a Quantum Laboratory
Independent design and development
- Central Authentication Service (CAS) and access management: Built a centralized single-sign-on system to provide permission isolation and interoperable data across laboratory applications, with unified authentication for multiple service platforms.
- Quantum experiment scheduling and control platform: Designed a Python (FastAPI) and WebSocket architecture for asynchronous, high-concurrency quantum-control tasks, automating experimental workflows and enabling traceable status management, instrument-time statistics, and equipment-fault monitoring.
- Quantum-simulation web operating system: Developed a cloud-based graphical terminal with a modern frontend stack that encapsulates command-line interaction and makes visual cloud operation available out of the box, allowing researchers to configure experiments and run physical simulations directly.
Distributed Computing Environment and Highly Available Network Deployment
Independent implementation
- Heterogeneous compute scheduling and virtualization cluster: Deployed cross-node resources with Proxmox VE (PVE), integrating GPU servers and QEMU/LXC containers; restructured deployment with Docker for isolated, rapidly portable computing services.
- Cross-region network topology: Using a public IP, configured FRP tunnelling and OpenWRT/iKuai soft routers to connect highly available distributed nodes in Shenzhen and other locations; configured dual 10Gbps link aggregation and gigabit hot standby in the laboratory for low-latency, resilient connections to experimental equipment.
